There is more info on the site. Generally great courses in South Charlotte and near Lake Norman, but there are others that are a bit further out that are really nice too and worth the drive... pun intended.

There were two places not mentioned or shown that I love! The Divide at Shannamara in Matthews (just outside the I-485 loop on Stevens Mill Road) is lovely with a great price and gorgeous greens. Another one is just off of Lawyers Road about a mile off of I-485. It is Emerald Lake. Once again the place is lovely and the greens fees are very reasonable. The feeling in these two courses is far more relaxed, in my opinion.

There are certainly no shortage of options for you with regard to the golfing community. I am sorry for your divorce but hope that this new chapter of your life is rewarding and you find new happiness very quickly. Let me know if I can assist you in any way on this portion of your journey.

Blessings upon you...

Fun Golfer,

There are some great courses down in South Charlotte such as Myers Park Country Club, Carmel Country Club, Quail Hollow Country Club (home of the Wells Fargo, former Wachovia Cup Championship), Piper Glen Country Club and many other lesser known ones, but not bad courses.

If you're looking to live near the lake, The Peninsula is a great course and home to LPGA tournaments. The Point, a little bit further north in Mooresville, NC has just been purchased by real estate mogul, Donald Trump, who will convert the course to Trump National Country Club and will invest tons of money to revamp the course.

Please contact me, I want to help you with your move, and you have no obligation!!
