Hi Halley, you should go to the web site for Parkland for more information. A term like "social scene" is quite general. What specific amenities you seek should be directed to a local realtor. ... more

There is one new community currently being constructed in Parkland. There were 168 homesites opened up last year and they only have about 10 lots available as of April 2010 so you would have to move quickly. Other than that it appears that WCI will resume construction in the 3 communities that have left to build in Heron Bay within the next 12 months. Coral Springs is really out of usable land so there should only be a few small communities to build before Coral Springs reaches complete build-out. There are some nice resales in Parkland Isles, Fox Ridge & Heron Bay for homes built since 2000 if you can't find the new construction you like. For more information please call me at 954-255-0885 or email homes@edpoirier.com ... more

With less than 30,000 people it still keeps a small town feel. Also, many of the communities in Parkland are gated which helps with another level of security. ... more

During the morning and evening commute Holmberg road gets a little busy, but the city is bordered by SR-441, and the Sawgrass Expressway which lead to I-95 and I-75 so people work from Miami to West Palm Beach. Excellent central location. ... more
