Landlords and management companies don't advertise for Section 8. You can try searching the internet for Section 8 rentals in the Bronx. The truth is it will be difficult because landlords want renters who can pay full price. Section 8 & other government programs only pay about 75% of the rent and the landlord or owner loses about 25% every month. If you can afford to pay the 25% that Section 8 doesn't pay, every landlord will be happy to give you a lease. If you can't afford it, you may have to contact NYC Housing and see if you can get into one of their projects. There is a nice complex on Waring Ave. at the corner of Williamsbridge Road that is owned by New York City Public Housing.
