Realtors may be people, but in the name of a fast commission many may push sellers into underselling their home or buyers into overpaying. It is very scary and stressful for someone without autism; I can only imagine how many autistic adults get taken advantage of. ... more

Generally, the property is being managed by the Realtor for the Owner. The tenant makes any payment through their rent.

If the property is priced correctly and your offer is close to the asking price and the seller is in a situation to pay some of your closing cost, you shouldn't have to worry about the appraisal coming in. There are two levels of preparation on which for you to focus. The first being, preparing the home for selling. This is a relatively easy process that includes: deep cleaning, repairing, painting, planting, trimming, decluttering, etc. basicly allowing the home to shine.

The second level of preparation should find you becoming familiar with the selling process, including legal implications, documents needed, the selling process, etc. To be on the safe side, probably the best way to prepare is to enroll in a sanctioned real estate training program...and even then, without some level of experience, you could be taking a risk....
