I've bounced 'last offers' as many as six times before closing.
This is were your agents understanding of negotiation and game theory is essential or realizing there is much more to a purchase offer than the price.
If the home has been on the market 4,111 days, 'One and only' may not be real OR you now know why it has been on the market for so long.
Consider, if while you were visiting the home, were other buyers lined up to enter as soon as you left?
'One and only" can mean there are competing offers in the air.
There is no way for you to know with certainty.
Now is the time for you to offer what the home is worth to you and shorten the dance.

The secondary liens on the property will need to be paid off or negotiated by the first lien.
Your negotiator assigned to you by the bank should be aware of this.
In many cases the second lien will settle for pennies on the dollar. This is pretty common with short sales.
It may cause delays in the sale but, the second liens are normally pleased to settle and get paid something.
Good news is property values are improving-the bank may order a second appraisal that comes in higher than the first, and counter the FIRM offer you currently have and end up getting more cash from your buyer to accommodate the SECONDARY liens that need to be NEGOTIATED.... more
