If you have a current lease agreement, that should legally give you the right to stay in the property until the termination of the lease agreement. A lease transfers with the sale of a property and the new owners do not have the right to cancel that legal agreement. Of course, some states have different laws. you have to put a 3 day notice on the door ( within 3 business days) to get out if his lease has expired. if he doesnt ...check you government agency and start eviction proceedings. Call a lawyer and hope he didnt go bankrupt, otherwise thats a different story. ... more
