MLS data will include the cost of the land. Without the land figure as low as $75 per sq ft for a fairly basic house without many corners. From there it's up and up, depending on what you want. $150 to $200 per sq ft should get you a pretty nice house. ... more

Be careful when you sign up. I would highly recommend the Pro Product to promote yourself and your own listings.

As far as purchasing buyer or seller leads, the minimum is a 6 month contract and they will NOT let you out of it no matter what. The leads they provide are OK at best but what makes it difficult is they sell the leads to at least 3 Realtors at a time so the potential client is bombarded with emails, phone calls, and sometimes visits to the home. This approach causes the potential client to become understandably hostile. If your OK with that then you will get a number of potential leads.

Good Luck.

Trulia Customer Service answered:
Hi Ann!

Niki from Trulia here. Trulia is a search engine for residential real estate listings that are indexed from agent/broker web pages. Our service is free, and there is no charge to have listings posted on Trulia. At this time we do not add For Sale By Owner listings. Your profile shows you as a "Home Owner" if you are in fact a real estate professional, or are listing your home "for rent" as a landlord, you may go to your profile and edit the type to reflect your status.

Once your profile is set up for a real estate professional you will see a page called "My Listings". You can edit your listing by logging in to Trulia, hover your mouse pointer over your name in the top right corner of the page. The site navigation menu will appear as a drop down menu, click on "my listings". Once in the listings page choose the "for rent" tab. Your property will appear with an "edit property" button. You may add pictures to your listing here.

Thank you for using Trulia for all of your real estate needs.

Hi NH Resident,

I'd be happy to explain some specific questions that you may have about how we set our Estimates on property values. But to get you started, we have a pretty good blog post on the subject that could have the answers you're looking for.

There are a few reasons. First reason is for security purposes.
Second is so that one must contact the listing agency.

Another possible reason is so that one is forced to pay for the information. ... more

Hi Mickey,

Welcome to Trulia Voices and thank you for your question. I think that most who answered below didn't realize that you are asking specifically about removing listings from your search results on Trulia.

I'm afraid that option isn't available on our site at this time, however others have asked for such functionality as well. I'll be sure to share your request with our team and hopefully we'll be able to offer this option to those who use our site in the future.

If you have any other questions or suggestions for us, please let us know.

Best Wishes,

I should also note.

Many times a home is built at a 3/2 with a bonus Room. This is done to get around the impact fees that the county charges. This is how the county get 3 bedrooms when it is really 3 bedrooms and a bonus room

Does the 4th bedroom have a closet? Full closet?

This may be where the difference is.

Emily Erekuff answered:
Hi Iqbal,

This really depends upon how your listing information is being submitted to us. Assuming that your listings are submitted to us by your brokerage, the brokerage name will display on the listing as the link to their website and this information must be changed in the data feed your brokerage provides us with as Deborah said.

Lisa does bring up another option however. If you sign up for Agent Featured Listings you can change this link within your account, provided that Trulia receives your listing information from more that one source. For more information about Agent Featured Listings please see the link below.
