Hi Jossie:

Seminole county has some of the best schools in the entire central Florida not mention that cities like Lake Mary/Heathrow and Oviedo which are within Seminole county have been voted repeatedly as top 10 cities to live in the US. Tons of shopping, restaurants, great schools, public areas, biking trails,... are contributing factors.

Other areas with great schools would be Dr. Phillips in Orlando, Windermere & Winter Garden which are all in Orange county.

Below is the link to some homes in the mentioned areas:,46050,53303,53395,68015/minprice/200000/maxprice/500000/beds/3/minsqft/1800/minyearbuilt/1990/propertytype/SINGLE/listingtype/Resale+New/sort/price+asc/
Hope this helps and please call or text or email me with any questions.

Hi Jammie,

Sorry I did not see your question earlier. If you are in Casselberry, then the best thing to do is hoop in you car and drive through the areas that your are interested in, especially on weekends. Both places have a lot going for them, but based on my own observations, Northlake Park in Lake Nona is really a great place to raise a family. Probably has something to do with the YMCA/elementary school that anchors the area.

If you are still looking I'd be glad to help.

HI There:

It really depends on what is your definition of inexpensive. I see you are from of California. I used to leave in Orange County for 10 years and most of high priced neighborhoods here would be considered inexpensive in comparison to Orange County for example.

To reflect this into numbers: Windermere is one of the nicest areas close to Orlando and with about $350K you can purchase a nice single family home there.

If you want to stay at a lower price point with about $250K you can purchase a beautiful home in Kissimmee or Saint Cloud area area in a nice gated community. Within the same price range you can be within gates of Providence in Davenport which has been voted as the best community to live in the region by Parade of home for 3 consecutive years.

If you want to stay lower Cities like Clermont are laid back, nice family oriented feel and mostly "A" rated schools. You can purchase a home in Clermont for around $150K to $200K.

So a lot to choose from depending on your budget.

Feel free to send me an email to and give me some more details of what you are looking for and I would be more than happy to help you through the process.

Hi Mohammed!

There are MANY great areas and communities all throughout Central Florida. The two most important factors in determining where the best location is for your family will be your price range and commute to work. All the areas that the fellow Realtors are mentioning are great, however, they are some of the most expensive areas of Central Florida which you may or may not be able to afford. Please contact me so I can find out a little about what your situation is and how I can help you in determining the best place for you and your family!

Looking forward to working with you!

Hi Kati,

Hard to believe no one has mentioned Celebration yet. Celebration is the town Disney built on the southeast corner of their original Disney World property. It is the prefect place to live the Disney lifestyle and raise a family. You definitely want it on your list.

Good luck,

Janice, who calls herself a real estate pro, is clueless. People are walking away from homes in foreclosure all over Orlando. It has to do with the inflated prices of homes that they could not afford when the economy went south, home prices tumbled and they lost jobs or had to relocate. Some are just not willing to continue to pay huge mortgages on a home that is now worth half its original price. It has little to nothing to do with the bombing range issue. Some of what Janice stated as fact is a complete falsehood. There were NO live bombs found in peoples' yards. The Orlando Sentinel as well as local TV and radio media, continually reported bombs going off. A complete fabrication - what went off was the ordinance used to destroy old fragments - no live bombs were ever reported found. After spending millions of dollars searching homes and yards in the area, finding nothing, the Army Corps has moved on, issuing certificates to the homeowner so they can prove their home and yard has been searched and is safe. Due to the lack of evidence, the numerous lawsuits, drummed up by the litigation lawyers have been dropped. How do I know? I am a long time resident of Orlando, live in an area, not deemed in the bombing range, but close by with several friends who do live in the area. I have seen the certificates sent to homeowners and on file with the city, citing their property as safe, I have read the certified mail they received from the lawyers, who dropped the case when it became obvious they had no case.
Vista Lakes is a beautiful area with nice homes at a reasonable price. It is adjacent to many of the major highways and very close to the airport. It looks obvious that Janice, a supposed real estate pro from California, has an agenda.

Hi there Randy,

I moved to Orlando 8 years ago with my husband & daughter from Minneapolis, MN. We love it here. Close to everything, but not so close that we lack privacy. I live in a smaller town called Lake Nona. It is inside Orlando. We have the medical city here. Any questions in particular you have about here?

Hi Jamal,

What brought you up here? Were you visiting Moss Park? I live here in Lake Nona, 32832. I LOVE the small town feel. Publix & resaurants are nearby, but the hussle & bussle is not. Yet, I'm close to everything. The medical city is building up & thus so is our area. What kind of information are you looking for? Are you thinking of moving here?

Contact me if I can help.

Local Area Information
Come visit one of America's best kept secrets and you will truly fall in love with our subtropical paradise!

Just 35 miles east of Orlando, Brevard County prides itself as the home of Kennedy Space Center, the only facility in the world that launches the Space Shuttle; Port Canaveral, the second-busiest cruise port in the world; 72 miles of beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches; and the largest collection of endangered wildlife and plants in the continental United States. With its tropical weather, cultural activities, educational opportunities, active and passive recreation options, high-technology industries, and family-friendly atmosphere, the Space Coast offers an exceptional quality of life that residents and visitors enjoy year-round. Nearly 500,000 people call its 15 municipalities and unincorporated areas "home."

Tucked in among the other beach communities of Brevard County, Indian Harbour Beach sits on two square miles of land between the Atlantic to the east and the still waters of the Indian River Lagoon to the west. Beachfront parks are a great place for a picnic (most have running water to wash off the sand before you replace your flip-flops) and Gleason Park offers 27 acres surrounding a beautiful lake, with exercise trails, lit by Victorian lights in the early evening. Tennis is available on city courts and baseball and soccer fields are available at the city’s million-dollar sports complex.

Mark, you truly are the Somerset Oceanfront Specialist. I really appreciate the way you have worked with me as an owner of two units. I know listing with you is the right choice as you are well connected both in the local community and to the international buyers. Each time I talk to you, it seems you have my best interest in mind. I met Mark Palace at the Curves Vibrant Womens Conference and decided to have Palace Properties help me find a place to rent or buy. He had a place within an hour and I could see it that evening after work. Mark works hard for his clients and always kept in contact with me by e-mails and phone calls when I needed to talk to him. Never had to wait long for a call back. He is very professional, courteous and respectful. There are some realtors out there that should take lessons from Mark Palace, Palace Properties.
