Lewisburg and Center Hill are the best in Desoto County, raking top from primary school all the way through high school. Not all Desoto County schools are ranked at the top through high school. Desoto Central is way too big for my taste.... more

Yes, you may use your VA with either of these types of purchases. However, In order to be approved for a VA home loan, a property for sale must go through a VA appraisal. Pleasant Grove is an older very settled subdivision in Olive Branch just east of Hacks Cross off Goodman. Most of the residents have lived here since the homes were new. There is also new construction homes that are gorgeous homes. The schools are Overpark elementary which I have heard nothing but great things about. Centerhill High is also one of the schools with the highest ratings. I think it would be an ideal place to raise children, just a "little off the beaten path" but still not too far from town. Chappel Creek is East of Olive Branch City Center and homes range between
$250,000 to $450,000. Currently there are none listed on the MLS as being available.
Chickasaw Heights has homes ranging from $175,000 to $250,000. This development is just south of the Memphis State Line (about 1-2 miles).

Non-disclosure states directly contribute to the delay in the right of way acquisition process. It affects the property owners, as it makes it difficult for them to compare prices and validate their own opinion for the â€œmarket valueâ€ of their property. It is also one of the direct causes of suspicion, uncertainty, additional costs and time delays injected into the process of right of way acquisition.
I believe in complete transparency and public should have full knowledge of the market and sales in their neighborhood. Why are some states hiding these facts? What purpose does it serve? It can have a big financial impact on public.... more
