Many new agents get lost in the big offices. A team concept can give you more personal training and access to clients and homes to sell from day 1. You have to ask what the costs are, what they pay, do they train personally, do they provide leads, how about clients ready to go? Many big companies have top notch online and class room training. Come on! Give me a break!!

Of course our views are slanted by our local boards, MLS rules and state law - as they hold our "privilege" to practice, and in them we must abide.

Fortunately I am licensed in AZ where the decision of choice (still) firmly rests with the Seller, who may, with informed written consent, "opt out" of MLS advertising. To that end, I trust my community of Realtors to uphold the Code of Ethics: Duties to clients and customers, Duties to the public and Duties to Realtors. "Under all is the land."

Here in Arizona a "Coming Soon" rider doesn't mean the arrival of the Boogie Man - but if you've ever seen a scorpion...We can definitely talk!

I would just like to share that 2 open houses is normal since the open house is not what sells the house but rather the marketing, condition and price of the home. Those 3 criteria will determine why you only had 2 people look. Is your home priced right for the market? Did your realtor go over what marketing plan they will implement in the sale of your home? I have had good success with the Trulia Pro program. Mobile Ads did not work for me. I always look at the ROI, and if it is good then the spend makes sense. On Monday, I am taking a 50% share of a zip code from which promises a more personal reach to prospective customers. It is slightly more spend but perhaps will provide better conversion. I also work with Movoto who provides lead at whopping 30% referral! I have had many sales, however, I have determined that I can get more sales from increasing my spend at other 3rd party real estate sites. Getting customer loyalty still remains the greatest challenge of all.

In conclusion, if the ROI makes sense after the increase, why not go for it.

If the listing is yours, you will need to claim it on Trulia so that you can edit the listing information. Access the link below to access the My Listings section of your account and search for the listing in question. Once you've claimed it, you should see the option to edit it on the very same page and you should have no problem updating the address.

I hadn't heard this before now, what a mess! A few weeks ago I had a buyer interested in the Cleveland County Bond money, but I couldn’t get information from anybody about the current situation. I kept getting handed off to different people and NO ONE had any information. I was spinning my wheels and had to tell the buyer that I was sorry and they'd have to try and look into themselves and see if they have better luck. Hearing your fiasco, it puts light into my recent experience. Wish I had a suggestion for you but don't...other than Good Luck! ... more
