That's a good question. I'm a resident and I think the HOA is really inflated, much more than other communities nearby. There is no pool or clubhouse, just a gate.

I believe that ad has already been taken down as it is a scam. The home on Hatfield is in escrow for a sale, not a rental. The scammer takes the photos of homes for sale off of the internet and then posts ads with way below market rates. Go to Zillow to get an idea of what the rental rate should be for a particular property. Any ad with the rate about 50% of the true amount is going to be a scam. ... more

Here are 3 properties in the MLS near Hwy78 in Oceanside and Vista with 3 bedrooms and available to rent now:

There are many more available in Craigslist.org. Depending on your budget and whether you have pets will narrow the choices. These are for long term rentals. Websites like www.vrbo.org are for short term furnished vacation rentals.

Hi Newton,
I agree with Kyle. I see it as a standard sale in the MLS. I do NOT see it as a rental. If the price seems very low and the owner tells you they are in Africa doing missionary work and want you to Western Union the security deposit.... RUN :)

Thanks!

Most every city has it's own local free newspaper, in which they normally have a page that lists all police activity in the area since the last publication. Sometimes called "Police Blog". You can find these newspapers at most local merchants in the area of interest such as supermarkets, 7-11, etc. ... more
