Both are good towns in CT but it truly depends on the neighborhood. In both of these areas, there are "more desirable" parts of town. Both are near NY and great for commuters. Really depends on neighborhood. ... more

It is a very difficult situation indeed and one I'm very familiar with in this current market. The best option is to request a short sale from the bank which is better than walking away and having the bank foreclosed on the property. Foreclosure has a longer-term effect on your credit. I am available to discuss other options with you should you need additional information. Feel free to give me a call, text or email.

This unit is located in Rolling Ridge which offers wonderful amenities such as a club house, platform tennis courts and an amazing pool and pond. Common charges are $384/month and includes heat, which with gas & oil prices really is a bargain. It is one of the better selling complexes in Norwalk and at this price is a good buy.
If you would like additional information, please get in touch with me at your convenience.

Good morning, I currently live 2 miles from Topstone Rd. Incidently I also lived in Wakefield RI while I attended URI. Small World. I would be happy to show you the property and answer any and all questions if you have any. Ridgefield is a wonderful community. See the link below to see how it ranks in CT.

1st step should be talking to a mortgage broker to see what you qualify for
2nd step shoud be choosing a competent and local Realtor that knows Norwalk to work with.
Ask friends and family for referrals. You should interview both before choosing one.

good luck....

Did I mention that I was a competent and local Realtor?

Kind regards,

Linda

Hello Hughcity,

The problem is that appraisers are now rolling both short sales and foreclosures into the appraisals along with properties that sold for fair market value that did not have financial problems, resulting in, of course, much lower values, which does means exactly what you are saying...that if the sellers do not adjust and the buyers do not adjust, the deal can fall by the wayside. It's really not good for anyone, but unfortunately, it is what it is in the marketplace. Unfortunate.
Please let me know if I can assist with any of your real estate needs.

Kind regards,
Linda
