Generally u need acredit score of 620 or higher and a dti of between 36 and 40% your ssd and widows pension does count as income but a decwnt credit score is a must and usually atleast 5% down. Call a loan officer and ask how you can build ypur credit so hopefully ucan purchase a home.. credit unions usually habe secured crsxit cards.. you put 500 into a account, then u use it as a credit card, making your payments and the payment u male becomes available again.. it reports to your credit.
