a good neighborhood in my opinion. Something I always suggest people do is call the local PD. They are generally very forth coming about crime, and what to look for in there areas. I have also had clients in the past talk to neighbors in neighborhoods they like to see what there opinion is. Trulia also has a place to go for neighborhood info. ... more

I'm not completely sure about NJ but here in California the landlord/owner pays the Realtor for bringing the tenant.
I believe it may be the same way in NJ. I lived in Boston for a while and the landlord paid the Realtor as well. ... more

Hi, I check both rentals and sales, and nothing at that address (or similar) comes up.
Where did you see this ad?
I'm sure there are others similar, if you would like to share your criteria perhaps we can find something that IS available to be rented.
Thank you!

The link below provides 75 or so purchase options specifically to Porter Ranch. You may be able to set up a lease-option purchase arrangement with a home that is otherwise currently overpriced and/or has a longer history of being listed for more than the typical days on market ratio. A dated/fixer or one in a not-so-great location may also provide a motivated seller... This also depend on factors such as your down payment, credit scores, employment history, etc. Let's get creative! ... more

In my experience, usually you want to emphasize your strengths, even though you have bad credit. Offer the landlord or manager to see your bank statements and income information. This usually exceeds their needs for good credit tenants. ... more

I know of a large master bedroom with it's own bath and use of a private kitchen with it's own entrance for $850.00. Is that too high for a college student?

Hi Alissa, I have worked before with college students. As long as you can prove that you are going to be able to make the monthly rent, it wont be a problem. Most landlords will ask for credit reports and more documentation in order to accept your lease application. if you would like me to help, give me a call at 818-968-1691 or send me an email to jhon@jhoncordova.com

Thank you

Richelle Bri…, in Simi Valley, CA

Richelle Briasco answered:
Generally, the Realtor is paid by the landlord of the property. In some cases, if a person is looking for a rental and goes to or joins a service or pays for a service to assist in finding a rental home, then the tenant would pay a fee to that company. In this economy, it is a renters market. You should be able to find a rental home and you should not have to pay a fee to do that. My company can assist you in finding a rental property with no fees paid by you. Please call at any time for more information.
