Thats not so easy to answer anymore. It used to be able to turn to the MLS and tell you right away, but these numbers are skewed due to the lengthy short sales that sit forever on the market even though they may have a great offer or be under contract for months. Some Agencys have their own average as Matthew is stating. Most professionals would say 6 to 8 months when priced accordingly, but here in Jersey our Real Estate Season (April-November) is winding down and most people are going into holiday and vacation mode. The easiest and obvious way to sell it faster would be to lower the price below the fair market value and/or supply some perks or incentives such as assisting with buyers closing cost, or paying higher commision to the realtors, or offer selling bonus, or home warrenty, to name a few. ... more

Both realtors who have answered your question are correct. You would need to pay a tuition if you wanted them to attend Linwoods' elementary schools...but yes, your child/children will go to the award winning Mainlaind HS in Linwood.
