I am not sure if this is question is still relevant. I just asked my real estate agent (Renee Boiteau 401 369 1299) to list my home (5 Dorene Dr., N. Smithfield, RI 02896) for rent. If you search, you may still find it listed for sale along with the photos and description. It will soon be listed instead for rent (rent to own option is also possible).

Hi Rick,
Wow! loads of answers here to your question. Guess you know the answer by now, but different places offer different packages. Just as different Realtors offer different services.

If you are a first time buyer with good credit, you will qualify for some great programs. Right now the rates are low, so it's a good time to pursue this. Once you have your letter and you find a house, you can use it to show that you are sincere.

Good luck and feel free to contact me with any questions:)

Also check out district web sites, etc. ... more

On an average, market time in your area looks to be 90-120 days if priced agressively. There actually has been a sale recently that sold in 9 days-but there has also been a home on the market for 2 years. Again, market time would vary depending on pricing. If you would like to sit down and go over your options contact me through my profile and I will be happy to help. ... more
