First of all, if you are thinking about selling your house in a couple of years, any pricing now will be inaccurate. The best time to find out what your house is worth is within several months of marketing for sale, and the best way to determine this is by contacting a real estate professional who will give you a comparative market analysis based on recent sales of comparables in your area, considering size, specific location, condition, layout, etc. ... more

We would recommend checking with a local lender because they will know best what programs are offered in your area. There are some programs available depending on your state that provide some downpayment assistance but generally you'd have to have good enough credit and income to qualify for a mortgage. Feel free to call us if we can further assist you at 803.640.8950. ... more

If you would like to go through a property management company, we would recommend calling Meybohm Realtors at 706.736.3375. If you'd rather go through an individual, we would recommend looking through the iwanta, the local paper or checking out Craigslist. Keep in mind that in most cases it cheaper to purchase a home rather than rent one. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call at 803.640.8950. ... more

The home has certain standards to meet the USDA loan approval. The repairs would need to be completed prior to closing. There are other Gov't loan options for repairs. Have you talked to a banker yet? I believe its a 203 loan that FHA offers. Also, have you checked to see if the home you are looking at is in a RD loan area? ... more

Joanie McCraw answered:
Hi Krystal, A Realtor can give you information of the current market in North Augusta as far as what is selling, price range, size, etc. However, there are many factors that determine the value of a home. For instance you didn't mention if your home is a 1 or 2 or 1.5 bath home, square feet, location, condition of the home, age of the systems, roof, etc. You could also get a current appraisal for the home but that only gives you the current value and not what a Buyer would pay for it. I would recommend you schedule a consultation with me or a local Realtor you know to assess your property. Thank you & good luck! Joanie McCraw, 706.306.1183/www.JoanieMcCraw.com ... more

Hi Gaslan,

Thank you for alerting us about this. We use the Google Maps API to map listings. Unfortunately that may provide slightly different information than what is displayed on Google Maps, and we don't have the power to update that information. We encourage you to report the discrepancy to Google via the link below. Once they update their API, our map for this property should update as well.

Best Wishes,
