it gets a high hispanic population, and is very good catering to language barrier. My preschool child went there and they lost him - left him on the playground. He was not in his classroom with teachers when I went to pick up and they didn't even notice my child was gone. My child fortunately remembered the door they used and what classroom door decoration looked like and managed to make it back into the building but I found a crying very distressed preschooler standing in the middle of a busy hallway of exiting school children. The Madison school district is located in a neighborhood with a high rental rate. Makes sense since it is so close to the University. The school also includes the area of Eagle Cliff which is very nice. The clients that I have with children that attend Madison have nothing but nice things to say about the teachers and the school's academics... i didn't ask about nutrition or music and PE courses. The new elementary school is called Ronald Reagan and will have a French emersion ciriculum that many people are excited about. You can find the district map on the Norman Public schools website. It includes neighborhoods like, Cobblestone Creek, St. James Park and the new neighborhood north of Cobblestone. This should lighten the load and decrease class sizes at Madison.

Irving - there are many nice neighborhoods that feed this school as well. This is also among the rental demographic and first time home buyers.

You can find information on the web regarding crime and sex offenders. There are many good sites, don't forget another good source, the Norman Police Department. They can easily tell you what kinds of crimes, if any, that happen within a radius of a certain home that you are considering.
