Unfortunately a seller can respond or not as they please. Your offer should have an expiration date and time, offers should not be open ended. My take away is that the seller and/or their agent are playing games trying to see if they can't get additional offers. Whether you decide to play along with them is up to you. If you wish you could have your agent resubmit your offer with the caveat that the seller has 24 hours to accept it or counter, after which you are pulling your offer and will no longer consider the property. Ultimately it's up to you to decide how much jerking around you're willing to accept from the Seller and how badly you want this particular house. My own experiences (25 years worth as a top producing broker) is that when one side or another starts off playing games, it's an indication you're going to be working with real jerks. ... more

I actually went to Mont Pleasant High School ( Schenectady High is a Combination of Mont Pleasant and Linton when they combined the two) I do have to say that you should always check with http://www.greatschools.org http://www.schooldigger.com to see what information you may find... You can also go visit the school and talk with administrators, teachers, etc, If School is in session, that will give you a very good idea of what goes on as well.... but do your homework and get unbiased opinions. ... more

Glenville is a wonderful place to live and taxes are usually listed on each listing, However< I have found that these are sometimes just estimates or can be inacurate, Your Realtor can certainly get you accurate information by contacting the tax assessor.
In any case, If you need any help or information in the area... Here is my Contact information.

Paul,

I would say it depends. Right now it you are in a great market as prices are negotiable for buyers. There is no percent. Homes in Niskayuna do typically cost more per square feet than homes in Schenectady.

Please feel free to search homes for sale in Niskayuna and the surrounding areas at http://saratogaspringshomesforsale.net I would be happy to answer any questions for you.
