Nature's Hideaway is a great neighborhood. Most of the homes are wood-frame leaving them open to termite issues quite possibly, but that hasn't deterred many. I recently sold a home in here on Moon Shadow Road. My clients looked and looked in all of the nearby neighborhoods, but were sold on Nature's Hideaway. They were determined to be in this quaint neighborhood. The home values have stayed quite high in this recession. Most of the homes are selling at a rate of over $90 per square foot. If you have any questions, please contact me.

All of Florida has sinkholes.
New Port Richey doesn't have that sugar sand that they do up in Spring Hill florida so the house doesn't collapse. Purchase sinkhole insurance no matter where you live in Florida. It's about an hour from MacDill if you take the expressway. Longer depending on traffic.

Disclosure will require the seller to tell you if the house had a sinkhole.

Trulia is automated. It pulls data from various public sources. Type in your property address, then go under "edit" and then "claim the home". You can then update your property facts.
Hope this helps!

Glennis,
Right now there are some excellent buys on 1/1 condos in Gulf Island Beach and Tennis Club. These Gulf front condos offer many amenities and are very reasonably priced. Please let me know if you'd like me to send you these listings to consider.

First if you think you have a sinkhole and have insurance for sinkhole, the insurance co can do a test at their
expence, and if you have one ,either they pay to fix or buy out your mortgage, whichever is cheaper.
Florida law reguires disclosure for sinkholes even if your next door neighbor had one,you could be liable if you dont disclose.
If you r looking for a home inspector to check your home, i know some one.
Good luck

Crime is best asked if you go right to the source of those that deal with the crime, in this case you are looking at both the pasco county sheriff's department and you can goole that website, and the New Port Richey Police department and they too can be googled to find the website. As for area itself, Pasco County is a nice place to live, its close to tampa and yet a few minutes ride and you might see cows or a farm! ... more
