Hi Jaduan,
You may be able to get pre qualified based on your credit score. However, it may be best to wait another two months and start with a clean slate.
All the best,

Hi Gofishin48,

One of the best things about VA loan & a chapter 13 bankruptcy is you only have to be in the 13 for 12 months to be "eligible" for a VA loan.

You do have to show that you've re-established your credit which per VA guidelines is a clean 12 month history after a bk.

Take a look at the recommendations from some of my past clients on my Trulia profile by clicking the link below my phone number.

Please feel free to contact me for more information or help.

Thanks for your service to our country from one Veteran to another. It is not a VA requirement but the Lender you are working with. You can have 10 jobs in 2 years as long as you can document that you have been gainfully employed via w-2 and pay-stubs or Two years of tax returns if self employed.

I would be delighted to provide you with some mortgage options, this does not require us pulling your credit and will allow you to make the best decision for your family. I can be contacted for a FREE no obligation consultation.

There may be tax consequences of what you are looking to do, so would suggest your consult a tax adviser and also a real estate attorney before switching title to the property. If your mom lives where she has access to email and printers, she can actually list/sell the property from abroad, agents in FL often have foreign sellers or sellers residing in foreign countries that we deal with. ... more
