The school you show is incorrect. You show Ann Parish as the elementary school when in fact kids in this part of Meadowlake go to Valencia Elementary.

The majority of students at Whittier come from families with low incomes and are second language learners. These are the two greatest factors that influence scores NOT teachers as our illustriious governor and her unqualified sec. of ed. would have the public believe. Because the neighborhood has abandoned the school the percentage of middle and upper middle income students is absent further compounding the low test scores. There are some high scoring schools I wouldn't put my child in and I transfered into a "low-performing" school so she could learn a second language. The "low performing" school had excellent teachers and resources.

If you really want to know a school visit it!

And yes, you and your neighbors should support your neighborhood school it is a reflection of you.

Please don't believe that you can get to NM Tech from this house by going 1.09 miles. The Rio Grande is in between. It takes 25-30 minutes to get to Tech by going through San Antonio. it takes even longer to go north through Escondida (and you may need a 4 Wheel drive vehicle depending on how much sand has blown over the road.) ... more

Are you sure you have that sip code correct? There is a 87107 zip code in Albuquerque. If that is the one you are referring to then there are a few elementary schools in the area. Duranes Elementary, and Griegos Elementary are the first two that come to mind. ... more

Hello Maria,

If you're asking about local colleges in Rio Rancho, there is CNM and UNM West. Is the location of nearby educational facilities your primary focus on where to buy a home?

Those are private for the owners in that area. The town does have a pond in town that is stocked along with the river.

This message was set to me from HUD:

"HUD has initiated a counter offer process on this property, and you are welcome to submit a new bid. The period for submitting counter offers for this property will begin on September 19, 2013 and end on September 19,2013. HUD has set the minimum acceptable net to HUD offer amount for this property."

I had a client put in an offer and she walked from the deal.

I do get these every other day. If you would like to know what the minimum acceptable net that HUD will accept at this point in time, contact me.
