I'm looking for a similar answer. My listing agreement states the I'm responsible to pay the gross sales tax for both the buyer and sellers comission. My attorney says it's negotiable, but I'm not sure what the norm is, and I haven't signed the agreement bc the broker says I'm on the hook.... Btw I think gross sales tax is different in each county. Hello,

I apologize but you do not have an option to upload new photos on a property that is on public record. You can only add new photos of your house if you list it as for sale.

Hello,

To start, I would like to note that the Trulia estimate is an estimate derived from our proprietary algorithm. Our estimates use a ton of info, including recent sales of similar homes and home facts like number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, and more to provide insight into what a home is worth. This data is compiled from public records and other sources for counties across the US. Please know that we do not intend for the estimate to replace a comparative market analysis as they can take into account market intricacies that the Trulia Estimate cannot. The Trulia Estimate is really meant to be a starting point in determining a home’s value and is not an official appraisal. To learn more about the Trulia estimate, we encourage our users to follow this link: http://www.trulia.com/trulia_estimates//.

Please also note that we do not directly edit or remove Trulia estimates. While we monitor customer feedback for systematic issues with the algorithm, we do not change individual estimates in response to customer feedback. We understand however, that some homes may be unique in ways that are not well captured by existing data. To provide more information on your estimate, we encourage you to claim your home and update its facts if you notice any information is outdated.

Updates to your home facts will be factored into your home's Trulia estimate, however, if the updates are not significant enough to impact the home's value, your estimate may not change.

If you're looking for a precise value for your home, we recommend you talk to a real estate professional.

One thing to consider is that when you do put your home on the market, the Trulia estimate will disappear as it is a feature only available for off market properties.

Thank you for using Trulia!

Hello,

The data you reported is coming from your county records, because of this I am unable to edit the information. This data is gathered by a third-party data collector and only updates on Trulia when discrepancies are identified at the next data collection cycle. Unfortunately, we are unable to expedite this process.

You have the ability to edit your home facts that appear in the Owner Information section. Please follow these instructions on how to edit your home facts. This includes editing the number of bedrooms/bathrooms, square footage, home features, description and more.

Sign into your Trulia account. If you do not have an account, you must first register in order to update your home facts.

If you haven't already claimed your home, navigate to the property page, go to the "Edit Home Facts " button and verify ownership.

If you have claimed your home, click on the same "Edit Home Facts" button to update your home facts.

Make sure to select Publish Updates at the bottom of the page.

That said, we do have the ability to remove your home photos. Just send your request via the link below.

What is it you're wanting to do exactly?? Sell your current home and buy the new one? Or keep the current one, renting out, and buy a new one? I would figure that out first, then you need to talk to a lender to get pre-approved. If you're wanting to sell your current home, then buy, it can be a tricky process. You should talk to a local REALTOR to discuss what you're trying to do. If the market is super hot, it might be difficult to buy the new home with a contingency of selling your current home. ... more
