Hi! I've lived here my entire life- I moved here in 1999 as a 5 year old and i'm a young adult now. This is a great town to raise children. However- Once you hit 18 there is nothing to do, so make sure you send your kids off to college. It's a nice place to have a family but not for a young adult to broaden their horizons. Also, there are no places where young adults can hang out- Hillsborough has 1 bar, no pool halls, no bowling alleys, just a very overpriced movie theater. So, although it is focused on keeping our children and their parents safe and occupied with TONS of childcare services and activities and keeping bars and gambling out, it leaves young adults very vulnerable and susceptible to turn down the wrong path, since there's no where safe for them to hang out. So send your children to college :) ... more
