There is a neat Cost of Living Comparison web page through Bank Rate that you can check out at http://www.bankrate.com/calculators/savings/moving-cost-of-living-calculator.aspx

I see that you are moving from San Antonio and my first thought was that the cost of living is very similar and then I noticed San Antonio and New Braunfels are combined for the calculator so I think it is safe to assume your cost of living will be very similar.

I moved to New Braunfels from the Houston area 5 years ago and I was surprised at how inexpensive my car insurance rates and utilities were here! But rates have increased in that five years.

Hope that helps!

I bought a home using my VA entitlement, when I sell it would have to be with another vet or can I sell it to a non-vet and still be able to use my VA entiltilement?

Also when you type in the address the price is right but the pictures are old ones and it is still showing the old realtor as the listing agent.

Hi Latandra homes in New Braunfels in that price range are hard to find. You may be able to purchase a manufactured home for $50,000 in a community like Comal Farms. Good luck

I would definitely ask your neighbors who they use, and get a list of a few different storage units you could use. Then I would see if you need to look for specifics in the services offered by the storage center. Like Jennifer said, you want to check for climate control and security. Every storage unit is different, and you want to find the best one for you. http://www.kandlstorage.com/ ... more
