I personally don't know a lot about rentals, but I would suggest looking either in the rentals section on Trulia and www.rent.com. Here are a few things that might increase your chances of finding a rental after bankruptcy, if you're struggling with your credit score:
1. Find a cosigner, such as a close family member or friend.
2. Make a larger deposit
3. Ask a previous landlord to vouch for you. This can go really far to an apartment complex.
4. Rent from a smaller landlord, such as a private homeowner who may not personally perform a credit check.
