There are quite a few Charter Schools in the Portland Area. If you Google 'Charter Schools in Oregon", click on the ODE. State website. called Oregon Charter School Directory. It will give you a map were each school is located and info/ratings on that school. I have quite a few friends whose children have or are now attending Mitch Charter School in Tualatin. They all seem to like it.

Good question and one that an excellent agent will help you sort out because there are about a million follow-on questions that go with this. Where are you moving from? Do you have a time frame in mind? Have you sold your current home? Price + base amenities + job related commute, etc. is the core place we start. Then we work hand in hand to put together the puzzle to find you the perfect place to call home.
Laurelhurst is a great community, but there are many others. Call if you are ready to sit down and begin a consultation - we have experience and resources that will make a difference.... more
Yes three blocks to the west and 4 blocks to the south and you are at Wasco. The cross street to the North south is Burnside St so this apartment is 16 blocks north of Burnside and Wasco is about 7 blocks north of Burnside but it stops and does not go thru to the east until up past 70th. There are many areas of "unincorporated Washington County" that have a Portland address and zip code because they are served by the NW Portland post office sub-station, however they are indeed in the Beaverton School District. This property is located along Springville road where the boundary lines are quite close to the address. It is most likely in the Beaverton School district area, the district is on a furlough day today, however if you call the boundary information number at 503-591-8000 tomorrow (Tuesday) they should be able to give a more definitive answer.... more
The apt you asked about is for rent for $780 for 840 sq ft 2 bedroom and it is on the eastside of Portland. The westside of Portland is closer to $1 per foot. The listing has all the information on it. The closer to Portland the price goes up. Tom inglesby... more
Hello, Marissaportera - the listing you've found in St Helen/Scappoose area is going to require a vehicle of some kind to reach any of the nearby colleges. Probably closest to University of Portland, in the St Johns area - or Pacific University in Forest Grove. Those two are in opposite directions of each other. And then there is PCC-Rock Creek Campus, and Portland State! Be sure to use the mapping feature on all listings! - and mapquest.com is a great source of information as well.
Good luck in your search. Linda... more
Best thing to do is call the school. We don't know how old your child is. If your child is 5, then we're talking quite awhile before High School is even in the picture. Boundary's change and schools close doors. We can't answer that due to the nature of being real estate agents not school board members on the redistricting committees.... more
