what place in Houston would be good for a couple?

Asked by sumishon0405, Honolulu, HI Fri Jul 26, 2013

We are planning to move but not sure where in Houston. We are a couple in age late 20 and we are also looking for jobs when we get there as a nurse and electronic engineer. We would like to rent an apt and no like to be in busy city. Hope to have park near apt where we can walk around and fairly convenient location for malls, grocery stores and so....Thank you!

The Woodlands would be perfect for you, lots of hospitals and industry, not far from Lake Conroe.
Walking, hiking and biking trails, the Mall is awesome....Houston is a huge Metro area, but there are great suburbs in all directions from Houston Downtown. I can describe at least 5 other great areas for couples, but here is a good website to get you started

There are several areas that come to mind. A couple of questions first ...

What is your budget?
How many bedrooms/bathrooms?
Are there any specific requirements (appliances, yard, pool, fireplace, etc.)?
Do you have sufficient cash for the first month's rent and security deposit?
Do you smoke?
Are there any pets? If so, what breed and how large?
If your credit satisfactory?
Have there been any prior landlord/tenant issues?

If you'll get back to me with this information, I'll begin the process. Incidentally, there is no cost to you as a tenant. I look forward to hearing from you.
