As Realtor's we are not allowed to comment on which areas haver better schools than others because we don't really have personal knowledge of that. You can visit http://www.greatschools.org and look up Maryland schools. Personally speaking, I live in Lutherville and my youngest son attended Lutherville Lab, Ridgely Middle and Towson High School. All three schools were excellent and were blue ribbon schools. We moved here from Anne Arundel County when my son was entering 2nd grade. My other 4 children attended Hilltop Elementary, Brooklyn Park Elementary, Lindale Middle and Brooklyn Middle and North County High School, I don't have the same opinion of those schools. But, this is my own personal experience and might not be the experience or opinion of other parents. Do your homework and once you have narrowed the schools down do your own due diligence and visit the school and interview the teachers to determine whether that school would be a good fit for your children.
Good luck!!

Tina,
I would never " badmouth" another realtor, but it truly does not sound like you are getting much help from your realtor. Maybe it is time for you to sit with him and have a heart to heart talk. If you are still not satisfied, give me a call and I will show you how much you could be getting from the right realtor.
My contact information is 410-925-1299. So text or call me!

My office is near Mt. Washington and it's a market I know well. Obviously, Phelps will be returning to Baltimore as the "hometown hero" and will probably generate a good bit of publicity. I think that Meadowbrook/North Baltimore Aquatic Club will definitely benefit from his return and purchase, but I really don't see it as having any impact at all on the housing market in Mt. Washington. Perhaps a minor impact if Phelps had purchased there, but his new home is in Fells Point...
