If you are asking about a rental, the answer depends on the landlord.

If you are asking about a coop, it depends on the building.

Always best to ask the local authorities. also confer with anyone you might know living in the area but that should not be the basis of any decision.

You really should check out neighborhoods on your own before making offers. When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Hi, It is, depending on what you paid for it, how long ago, and what other comparable units are selling for. I've done a lot of businness in Fleetwood and have seen prices come way down over the past two years. Even the Bronx River road area around the corner has taken a big hit. Your best bet is to meet with an agent and we can do a free market analysis for you.

Have a great day!
