Oh boy --- scams are prevalent online because of the ease for scammers to "steal" property info. A good rule of thumb is to work with an agent, never ever send money ahead of seeing a place or signing a lease, and if it sounds too good to be true, realize that it is very ikely just that. ... more

The best thing to do is to FLAG the listing and the Trulia staff will look into it and remove it. Go to the listing. Look for the menu item MORE, click on that then on the dropdown menu click FLAG.

It is no secret that rental values are well on the rise and moving fast. And I believe that this trend will continue for some time.

I can send you some listings but I would really need to know what towns you were mainly interested in moving too.

I little advice. Should you find a place and get a one year lease make sure you have an option to renew. Because if rental rates continue to rise, the landlord may be looking to get more money for the place either from you or a new tenant.

Hello! How are you doing?
It looks like you are thinking to move into Morris Co. Good choice. Morris Co. is very large, and price will depend on exact area and the type of property. I would say the minimum, what you may find, can be around $1.15-1.25/sq.ft, but average would be around $2.00/sq.ft
From my experience as a real estate broker in residential rental field I could say, that in 95% tenants pay all utilities, if you rent privately owned condo or house. There are many Garden Apartment complexes in Morris Co., where utilities may be included in rent. I was trying to answer your question (I am new in Trulia), if you need more detailed information, do not hesitate to contact me.

Ms. Johnson answered:

We prefer to sell too. We would rather sell than become Landlord's. There are other houses in the area that are older and not updated that have gotten so desperate and have dropped their prices substantially. How much of a loss do we take just to be competitive? That is the main reason we would like to rent. It would get us into the house that we want, and then keep what we put into the rental house until the market turns and we can sell. We just need a renter to commit.

Thanks for all of your advice!
