Hi Bhumi,
The NJ Transit bus stop is just 10-15 mins walking distance from Millponds off Rt 9 & Texas Rd. It is a commuter Bus No.64, Bus Stop ID# 23551. Runs weekdays only and is about 1 1/2hr ride. In this neighborhood there are three townhouse/condo developments - Millponds, Point De Jardin & Bellmont @ Marlboro. For a 2-3 bedroom @ Millponds & Pt De Jardin the price range is roughly betwen $200-$350K. I am a local agent. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

Thank you
Donna Kadaru

I am also looking into moving to Morganville but now with NJ Transit rates going up its been making me sway away at the thought of paying close to $400 a month for the train in Matawan. I love that the schools are top shelf in Marlboro and that the area is very beautiful.. 1/2 hour from Newark Airport, close to friends and the beach. My problem is not knowing how the commute experience really is into the city. I see that the commute to Port Authority would be the best for me though since Im only 6 blks away from my job in midtown. Does anyone know how bad the commute gets with traffic? Is it over an hour? How much does the parking cost? How do I find information on that? Is Old Bridge the best bus route to take into Port Authority? I see its cheaper .. is it definitely #139? is that where the parking is? How do I get a permit? Thanks so much and sorry for the multitude of questions..if there's anything else I should know please let me know. ... more

Both developments are similar. Woodcliff was built by Hovnanian and I do not know who built the Enclosure. I have a family member who lives in the Enclosure. They love it there and have 3 children. It is a great development with lots of children. it is close to Route 9 and it is walking distance to the bus stop. Woodcliff is close to Matawan train station. Woodcliff is hilly and the Enclosure is flat land. I previously owned a Hovnanian home and it was built pretty well and we had no problems with it. I hope this helps. ... more
