For any buyer who needs an aggressive agent experienced with short sales, this is my recommendation...reach out to 2-3 realtor agencies and ask for a list of the short sales they did in the past year where they were on the "Seller/listing" side of the sale. Then check who the top shown agent was for these closings. After getting the names from each agency, interview the top folks from each office to see who you are most comfortable working may find more than one and that is ok too!! If an agent has been on the seller side of the short sale, they have more experience and that would mean much more than a "certification" which is really just a marketing tool. Certification does not equate to experience in the field! It is ok to have, but I still want to work with the agent that knows the ropes from a practical standpoint,, not a seminar one.
Good luck. Tom Hinz

Driving to Harrison and taking the path is the quckest and most direct. However, you can take the train from Towaco to Hoboen and then take the path to Downtown. Not as direct and fast, but traffic from Montville to Harrison can be unpredicable, so it is more accuate and you don't have to drive. ... more

Debra (Debbie) Rose answered:
Pam, you'd have to get on Rt 280 East (10- 15 min depending on where you are in Montville), and that would then take you into Jersey City or Harrison - at least a solid 30 min ride (OR MORE) during rush hour.

Are you considering any other towns?

E. Hanover, Livingston, W. Orange, Roseland........ are just a few that are closer to the Rt 280 corridor.

Please let me know if I can be of help!

Best wishes!
