It is not too soon to contact a REALTOR in the destination location.
Discussing your long term goals in addition to opportunity costs may present options you are not yet aware.

Although, paying cash for a house is a super idea, it may not always be the best idea. This action needs to fit properly in your wealth building plan. ... more

Easy living. Little to no maintenance and great proximity to Milford services but quick access to Route 1 has you in Dover or the Beaches in 30 or less. Now that DelDot is addressing the intersection issue on Route 1 it will be so much more convenient and safe to access Route 1. Rookery North Country Club is super close. There are a lot of nice areas in and around Hearthstone as well that do not have higher HOAs l. Downside of Hearthstone would be a higher monthly cost for the amenities but they are reasonable for what is offered. Best of luck. ... more

http://www.doe.k12.de.us/ is the site for DOE in Delaware. This will list all the districts in the state with links to each.

www.capegazette.com is where the Cape Henlopen District advertises. As you will see different districts use different avenues to advertise. To be near the beach, Cape Henlopen or Indian River SD will be the best proximity. Milford SD is no more than 30 from Rehoboth as well.

Best of luck in your job search. Great place to live and work.

Hi,

Your question caught my attention, because Omaha is my hometown. However, your question is keyed on Trulia under Sussex County in Delaware. Many Realtors in the Nebraska area will not be alerted to your post. If you re-post and key it to Nebraska, it may generate more responses.

In the interim....you can find demographic data at

Hi Seth,
The only location I can find for a home buyer or seller to find property transfer information is at www.delawareonline.com (the Gannett news site). This gives you the ability by going into Real Estate, then there is a search feature for Recent Transfers by county. Take a look and see what you think. Of course, if you are working with a licensed Realtor, they can certainly help you out! ... more
