I checked in our Midland MLS for this property, and I cannot locate it. I wonder if it is no longer available or has sold and Trulia hasn't removed it from their site yet. You're better off going on a Real Estate company's website to look up all current property for sale. Our website is: www.midlandhomes.com and you will be able to see every company in Midland listings. Best wishes as you hunt. Feel free to contact me for further info and help. ... more

Shelley Koop answered:
Unfortunately, you should have inspected the work yourself at walk-through; it almost certainly would have been obvious the block had not been replaced.

You should have also requested some sort of transferrable warranty from the contractor and, even better, required a clean report from an independent foundation specialist following the repair and prior to closing.

However, there may still be liability if the work promised by the seller as per your contract was not completed. Do contact an attorney.

I just checked on the Midland Board of Realtors site and this home has not been listed for sale or rent with them in the past 90 days. I don't believe it is available unless the home owner is trying to rent it out themselves without using a Realtor/Property Management. Sorry. If you are looking for a rental in Midland, they are pretty hard to find right now. I'd be happy to work with you if you would like to call me. 989-631-1234 Ext 108 ... more

Looks like this home is not listed in the Midland Board of Realtors. I have done a search for the past 90 days and cannot find this home as ever being listed. It may be for sale by owner, but I'm not even positive about that. If you would like me to check it out more, please give me a call. 989-631-1234 Ext. 108. I'd be happy to work with you.
Thank you. Nita Draves

This home was listed by our office and went into foreclosure. It was a short sale, but my understanding is the bank took it over at the end of the redemption period.

It can be 30 days to 6 months before the bank gets all of their documentation in order to relist it as a foreclosure. We can keep an eye on it for you to make sure you are notified when it does come back on the market if you like. You will want to work with a local agent to keep up on the availability of this house. ... more

Hi Kayla,

The house that appears on the link looks like it was in foreclosure until August of 2011 when the owner paid $4,791 to settle, whatever they were behind, with the bank. I could do more research on it if you want, but I can't find anywhere this house is currently listed for sale. I would be happy to show you any current listings, if you would like.

Park Place Homes answered:
Hi Trishia-

Thank you for your inquiry. Without seeing the home, I would guess it would rent around $800/month. Rent to own is usually a bit higher because a portion of the rent would go toward the purchase price. The amount of money down would be different in every case. The home owner establishes that number and works with the buyer to determine what is fair. In a rent to own, there would be an earnest money deposit for the purchae (that goes toward the sale price) and there could also be a rental security deposit.

If you have more information or have more questions, I will gladly help and make these questions more specific for you.

Jason, many times that is not available, especially if the original owner of the house is not the one selling it now. Too see if it might meet your needs you could schedule a showing to walk thru the house or view interior pictures or a tour if it is available. I work in the Gladwin County area but live 25 minutes from Midland, if you have trouble finding a buyers agent in your area contact me and I will help you!! ... more
