Since none of us know the particular writing of your contract, I suggest contacting your agent who can provide an explanation. If you're going it alone and have no agent, you will have to read and understand the terms you agreed to (by yourself) and penalty of nonperformance. Another option of course is to consult an attorney who will read your contract and explain it to you. ... more

Hello, my husband and I are looking for a nice single family rental home. Some features we would like are 3 bedrooms, (master bedroom with two walk in closets), 2 - 2 1/2 bathrooms, hardwood floors and a basement . We are looking in the Middletown, De area. We are experiencing some credit issues due to us recently having to sell our home via short sale. We both have great jobs and can afford the rental fee.

Thank you

My husband and I have been trying to find someone to finish a basement for us as well. I have been doing a lot of research online, and you'd be surprised how much is out there. Simply google different contractors in your area. You should be able to find all kinds of reviews that you will need. http://harmancontracting.com.au/basement-living/ ... more

If your landlord won't let you stay, talk to your realtor about renting from the seller before closing. It's a sticky situation, and sellers don't like to do that, but it's an option. If you can write a letter of intent to the seller explaining the situation, that usually helps. They want to know that you're still going to close on the home. ... more
