Trulia shows a link for "more information" but when you click on it, it says it's passed on your interest in seeing the property - which may not be the intent. I want more information ....not an appointment to see the property. If the link went to an email "box" where one could type in what information they were looking determine whether I want to move forward and see the property..... that would be helpful. These calls backs to set up an appointment to see the property are a nuisance - and a waste of time for everyone involved I would imagine. And I imagine some people, not wanting an appointment, simply ignore them. Perhaps this is what is happening in your instance. ... more

You cannot pick and choose on a mortgage application. It's either 1 person's income AND credit OR both people's income and both people's credit.

Sounds like there is some convoluted stuff going on there. Are there realtors involved or are you buying a for sale by owner? The title attorney won't be able to convey clear title to you (close the deal) unless the ownership is recorded properly and ALL owners agree to the sale. This includes if the house needs to go through probate court or not.

In a normal transaction the realtors would handle all the fine print on this, but in absence of that you should hire an attorney. sounds like there are a lot of moving parts on this and you might not want to get into a deal that could take forever to close.
