Several things will happen to quiet down the greedy siblings or relatives waiting for their inheritance checks.
1. Real estate agents won't get involved with siblings selling an estate if all are not on board. Once the llsting contract is signed, everybody has agreed on the price.
2. The longer the arguments about pricing take place, the greedy siblings won't be seeing their inheritance check anytime soon. This will speed up the process. The quicker they want the money, the shorter the arguments.
3. In New York City's suburbs, property taxes are high and when the tax bills come, you will see how quickly the siblings shut up because the greedy ones would rather get a paycheck than pay the tax bills.

Funny thing is this post is from 2012, reappears and today, the same bears true that a seller choosing the biggest agent is not always better. They should chose the best agent.
