The exact date of her death is unknown and has long been believed to be in early March, a few weeks before the prisoners were liberated by British troops in April 1945. However, new research in 2015 indicated that Anne may have died as early as February. ... more

Hi J.

Michigan City lost a lot of industries over the last couple of year, but I assure you that LaPorte County has a lot to offer. Local government is putting actions in place to help revitalize the community. We have beautiful golf course lots available, there is Pine Lake in LaPorte, there are houses on Fish Lake and Hudson Lake. If you want to live by Lake Michigan, there are many house for sale in Long Beach. I have live here all my life and this would be a great place for you to retire and you are only 60 minutes from Chicago. If you would like to take a tour of our beautiful county, give me a call. Thanks Rosie Martin ... more

To take Aida's answer a bit further, you might consider going to www.remax.com, where you'll be able to view the accomplishments/profile of a number of agents from any particular area. Further, you may have an "International" brand, located in Australia (other than RE/MAX) that you've dealt with previously. They'll have access to agents worldwide. ... more

Consider asking your question again and attach a link, so that the question can be answered accordingly--If you are looking at a RealtyTrac ad--RealtyTrac's information is not always accurate and oftentimes misleading--you could be looking at a lis pendens property--notice of default--some of those properties may not be for sale yet, and some may never be, if the default is satisfied by the owner; or you could be looking at some kind of filing fees-- If you are interested in foreclosures, work with an agent--he/she will have access to reliable information--also don't overlook traditional sales as some may turn out to be a much better bargain than some of the foreclosure properties. ... more

Hi Tonya,
I don't see any actives in the computer for 9th St. There is one that expired recently at 1133 9th, it is priced at $16,500. It is a fixer upper and would be very hard to mortgage unless you go for a 203K rehab loan. ... more
