If you're working with an agent, ask your agent to set up a showing of whatever you want to see.

If you're not working with an agent, ask around for a referral to one who works in your desired area. The best way to buy a home is to have someone representing you from start to finish. ... more

Rent to own in general is a bad idea. First you'll have few homes if any to choose from. The terms are generally a large nonrefundable deposit up front and over market rent, only a small amount of that rent will apply toward your purchase. If at the time the contract is due, you can't qualify for a mortgage you lose all your money and have to start over somewhere else.
A better plan is to rent the cheapest place you can stand to live in while you fix whatever issue prevents you from buying now. Fix your credit and save up some down payment. Find a lender to work with NOW as they often can assist or at least guide you as to the best steps to accomplish your goals. Best of luck.

Some apartments will take you no matter what your credit and again it depends on how bad your credit is. It might not be that bad and if it is that bad, we can still find you something. You may have to pay an additional deposit, maybe not. Just pick any 1 Realtor and they will assist you. ... more

Also, there are plenty of homes in the 75149 area code of Mesquite that have houses under 120k, you just have to look.

Are you looking to buy or rent? I have someone who can be your agent. As far as any open houses you can ask her. Would you like her information?

Laura Feghali answered:
Hello Brianne,
Andrew is correct that the home you are referencing is no longer available. Since your credit is poor; you may wish to have a "Guarantor" or co-signer for the lease who has a good credit rating in order to increase your chances of a landlord's approval. This means that they would be responsible for the rent payment if you fail to make it.

Best wishes!
