You can ask them to show you where they have the right to back out, but I doubt they or anyone can find it.

What you are saying, is that the house was purchased in another family member's name and they qualified for the loan and you are making the payments. Was that done with only verbal agreement, or did you get it in writing. It sounds like you didn't have any plan of what was to happen in the future. I suggest that you retain a real estate attorney to help you sort this out, as to whether you would like to be added to the title or have the other family member sell the home to you. Most attorneys have a free half hour consultation to talk to them.... more
You can go to rent.com and enter in your criteria. You can also go to rentals on trulia.com or Zillow.com. You can also go to Craigslist.com and fill in your criteria to find rental housing in your price range. If you feel stable enough to buy a house I can find you a small house/condo/mobile home in Merced depending on your financial situation.... more
