Hi Andrew, To really know what it's worth you should get an appraisal by a Licensed Appraiser. Anyone can do an appraisal but The bank will have one done to see how much value is in your house so you may be paying 2x? Our Local Bank "Patriot" the Johnstown Office by price chopper or Canjo office. I think they do great job with mortgage, home equity and re-fi's and great with local homes. And NO GOUGEING Like Some Local Mortgage Brokers do!! But FYI....anyone can look on county records (sorry this trulia is NOT always Accurate) and yous compare size, bedrooms, baths. but amenities, quality of construction, location, condition, school dirstrict all drive market value. It's a great time to Re-fi Rates are really low. My Home equity with patriot is 2.75%! Good Luck ... more
