This is a great question......

And it may come down to how much information is enough information? The money number associated with HOA fee's is only a part of this important information. Then it becomes, "what is included in your HOA fee?" Then there will likely need to be clarifications of this information....where does it all stop?

It may come down to an appreciation that the best way to access accurate information on important issues such as these is via a real estate professional.

I know this doesn't help but it hopefully will provide you with another's perspective.

Respectfully,

HOA fees are included on MLS and shown on every listing if applicable. Trulia does not provide full listing information.

If you are in the market to buy a home, you should consider the use of a Realtor. Our commission is typically paid by the Seller, so our services come free to you and you have an experienced professional on your side throughout your transaction. Not to mention, you get access to significantly better information on the front end of your home search.

Good luck!

And if you decide to enlist the help of an agent, I would be happy to help:

Trulia receives real estate data from a third party data aggregarer call ListHub.
Where ListHub gets the data is undisclosed.
The data DOES NOT COME FROM THE MLS IN YOUR AREA.
If you want timely, reliable, relevant, comprehensive, accurate data, contact your local Realtor(r) for FREE access to the local MLS. That is the ONLY source for the timely, reliable, relevant, compreshinesive, accurate data you need to make a purchase decision.

Best of success to you.

Because the info you see on Trulia does not belong to Trulia. They are copying it from other sites and not directly out of MLS. If Trulia paid MLS for the info then they would have access to all those detail including HOA data. However, you can contact any local agent and they can sent listinngs to your computer for free, that include that info. Was this answer helpful?
