University of Arizona is the big attraction, but many locals choose Pima Community College. There are also others that offer online courses and more, such as the University of Phoenix, ITT Tech, Carrington College, etc. They all have local campuses. A wealth of educational opportunities!

Thinking of moving to Tucson? If you need help with housing as well, please don't hesitate to contact me.

The UOA is the big boy in town and is very nice and well respected. Pima Community College is also very good and convenient to go to or supplement your classes.

The two answers below have summed it up. We have the University of Arizona, the "prestige" school of the state university system, and also Pima County Community College. They are obviously very different schools. The U of A is the source of much -- but certainly not all -- of the cultural events that come to Tucson.
