This home is located in the gated, golf community of Bobcat Trail in North Port. The taxes are so high because the community has a Community District Development (CDD) fee of $1622.00 per year which is added into the taxes making the total of $5,001.00 for this home for 2012. Keep in mind that after a property is purchased the home is re-assessed. What the current owner is paying is not necessarily what you would pay. It could go up or down. The current owner does have a homestead exemption.

If you would like additional information on Bobcat Trail, this home, or any other homes in the area, I would be happy to help. You can search for properties on my web site too.
