Acre price is for land only. Asking price is the price for finished sq. ft. Sales price is what someone actually pays for the finished sq. ft. Example. I have a house listed for $100,000. It is a 1000 sq. ft. house. The asking price per sq. ft. is $100 per sq. ft. If you and your agent come in and offer us $90,000 for the home and my sellers accept. The sales price will be $90 per sq. ft. On the acre price. If I have a 5 acre lot available for $25,000. The price per acre is $5000. If you and your agent come in with an offer of $22000 for the 5 acres. My sellers accept. Now the sales price is $4400 per acre. Hope this helps.
