Realtors are by law not permitted to give that kind of information about an area or neighborhood as it could be perceived as steering, which is against the code of ethics and the law. Therefore for concerns like that as a buyer you will have to do your own research, contact the local police department, chat with
potential future neighbors once you zero in on a neighborhood or area, drive through it at various days and times to get a good feeling for the neighborhood, and to see if it fits YOUR needs.
And you can find a lot of information on the internet

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
