Yes that is the Marigny and in fact it is considered the "Marigny Triangle" a small area of the Marigny with the French Quarter just to the West. Also the area just to the North is often call the "New Marigny" an emerging neighborhood with lots of renovation going on. Not long ago a client of ours purchased a beautifully resorted double (turned in to a single) for under $190,000. That same home in the Marigny Triangle would have gone for around $400,000 or if Uptown would have been over $600,000 so you can see how appealing an emerging area like the New Marigny can be for many buyers.
