Why?? are the taxes listed are soooo High????

Taxes last year for a like kind property sitting just beside this home were $5800. Walton County where this home is located will probably be raising taxes this coming year. If I had to take a guess on this home for next year they will be somewhere in the area of $6,900. Taxes are misstated on the estimate of monthly expenses. They are not $1,183 per month. The taxes reported on the county site in 2011 were $1,443. Call me to discuss - cell 404-668-9520

Yes, Peter is correct. The taxes for 2012 were 1,115.85 annually and were for the lot only. Walton County has the LOWEST millage rate in Florida. Of course the taxes will increase when the home is included in the assessment for 2013 taxes. The millage rate for Walton County is less than 1% of assessed value. Hope this helps.

Taxes listed are @1000 annually. I am not sure what you are familiar with but This seems quite reasonable to me. The taxes are not 1000 monthly as trulia seems to indicate.

Taxes are what they are, regardless of how they may be listed.
