Your best bet is to contact your local agent since prices can vary greatly depending on upgrades, year it was built, whether it is a one or two story home. Your median price point for the 78739 zip code at this time is in the mid $400s.

As a Realtor that has lived and worked in 78739 for the last ten years I would be happy to help you find the right home in our neigborhood. Please note 78739 includes several neighborhoods and a variety of price ranges. Here is a quick snapshot of the main neighborhoods in the "39.

Shady Hollow: This subdivision has 4 homes actively for sale, 5 Pending homes, and 5 sales from April to May 2012. The average home is 2200SF, built between 1977 & 1991 with 4 beds 2.5 baths and a two car garage on a .40 acre lot. Typically a home takes about 73 days to sell. These homes are usually priced between $225K-$360K.

Estates of Shady Hollow: This neighborhood has 3 homes actively listed for sale, 1 pending and zero sold in the last month. The typical home in this area is 4033SF, built between 1992-2001 with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a 3 car garage on a one acre or more lot. These homes are priced between $425K- $500K. Normally it takes about 79 days on the market.

Barker Ranch at Shady Hollow: This area has 3 Actively listed homes for sale, 1 Pending home and 1 sale in the last month. These homes typically have 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a 3 car garage on a .38 acre lot and are built in 2003. These homes typicaly list for between $300K to $410K. While the last sale only took 2 days, typically its 54 days to sell a home.

Southland Oaks: There is only one home for sale in Southland Oaks, nothing Pending, and nothing sold in the last month. It is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with 3 car garage on a 1.04 acre lot built in 1994. They are asking $439K for this 3108 SF home which makes it $128.38 per square foot. This stunning home was under contract in just 13 days!

Circle C: Right now there are 26 homes for sale, 25 homes are Pending or under contract, and 15 were sold in the last month. The list prices range from $269K up to $659K, and the average price per square foot is $120.85. These homes typically have 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a 2 car garage on a .18 acre lot. The average year built is 2001.

Getting data for a whole zip code that covers such a wide variety of neighborhoods can be misleading. Where your home is located may actually have a different data range. That being said, the information you asked for is as follows:

Sold Listings = 86
Beds / Baths / SqFt / Listing Price / per SqFt / Selling Price / per SqFt / DOM
Average: 4 / 3 / 2,983 / $368,274 / $124.65 / $361,289 / $122.37 / 42
Median: 4 / 3 / 2,846 / $353,010 / $124.37 / $349,500 / $120.91 / 19

This is the sold data covering the last 90 days, which gives you the best and most accurate sample set, especially with how active the market is. Note that be Average and Median are actually very close, which is not always the case.

For your information, there are currently 52 active listings and 62 homes under contract. Only having 52 homes on the market means your zip code has only 2 months of inventory based on the number of sales in the last 90 days, which equates to a seller oriented market. Now is a great time to sell!!

There r currently 50 homes for sale in 78739 with the lowest at $225000 for 2132 sf n highest at $849000 for 4979 sf. The majority are in the mid$300's to mid $400's. Homes in the area you're asking about since the beginning of 2012 have sold at an average of $359,500, or $124.00 per sq. ft. and sold in about 38 days. Of course, there are lots of variables to consider, and many homes sold above or below this average.
